A good example of a flawed study as the sample group are not representative of the general voting population but of a very important group that rarely votes.
For the study, researchers showed 129 students negative television advertisements created by MoveOnPac.org for the 2004 presidential election. Regardless of their political point of view, participants indicated that the effect of the ads on others was significantly greater than their own reaction to the ads.
